Contribute to the Annual Fund

Gifts to the Annual Fund helps sustain our scholarship to surrounding schools.  Your gift of any amount is very much appreciated as every contribution helps the Scholarship Trust.

The Bedford Minuteman Company Memorial Scholarship Trust directly supports:

• Individual scholarship awards have been given to Bedford students who have written an application essay on the topic of what the history of Bedford has meant to them as they have grown through the educational system.
• This past year the Board of Directors have undertaken an additional approach to honoring the scholarship. After meeting with Bedford Public Schools administrators, department heads, and librarians, the Board of Directors have decided to provide special awards for Bedford’s youth regarding our colonial and historical heritage by focusing an annual award to the high school, middle school, and elementary libraries.  In this age of budget cuts that strike at updated library resources, our financial support would reach many, many more of Bedford’s students than the fifty individuals over the last 31 years.  Our goal is to augment the libraries.  The restriction to our support would be that the funds would go exclusively to resources for American studies (local, state, and national history and literature) and that our organization would be given an annual list of the procured resources for our records.

Tribute Gifts

Annual Fund gifts in honor or in memory of an individual are a way to celebrate that individual’s passion for the local school system.

Gifts in honor: If you wish to make a gift to honor someone special, for their birthday, anniversary or any other occasion, your gift will be acknowledged in a card informing the person honored of your generosity to the Trust.

Gifts in memory: If you wish to make a gift in memory of someone, a card will be sent to the designated relative or friend acknowledging your thoughtful tribute.

The Bedford Minuteman Company Memorial Scholarship Trust, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations to the Trust are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
